Defect Elimination Lead - Reliability

We are seeking a Defect Elimination Lead to join our clients Surface Maintenance Front End Reliability team at Olympic. This role is ideal for a technical leader with a strong background in reliability and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

* Team Leadership: Manage a small team of engineers to provide technical maintenance support and eliminate equipment defects.

* Technical Oversight: Exercise high-level expertise to make independent decisions and support execution.

* Analysis: Measure results against benchmarks and monitor metrics for contingency planning.

* Problem Solving: Lead investigations into plant performance and implement sustainable risk-mitigation solutions.

* Coaching: Conduct peer reviews and develop team technical skills to ensure quality outcomes.

* Continuous Improvement: Actively identify and deliver initiatives to eliminate waste.

About You:

* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.

* Proven background in Reliability engineering and leading teams.

* Proficiency in BHP systems (SAP, Work Management) preferred.

* Strong communication and organizational skills with a collaborative approach.
